What’s The Weather Like?
Talking about weather is a British pastime. To get some idea of what to expect during your holiday in Las Vegas, you can check the current
temperature, which is displayed in the upper right-hand corner of our homepage, along with a link to a five-day forecast.
For the most part, the weather here is great. Las Vegas is known for having clear blue skies and little rain—the exact opposite of any
city in the U.K. Since it is situated in the desert, the climate is very dry. During the summer months, temperatures peak and often reach
48° C. Ironically, in December and January, the thermometer can dip below freezing, but the daytime norm in winter usually ranges from
10° to 15° C.
If you’re planning a trip to Las Vegas, the best times to visit are spring and fall, when temperatures are perfect (i.e., around 32° C).
But the other seasons can be brilliant, too. Although temperatures are high in summer, that gives you more reason to soak up the sun at
the resorts’ posh pool lounges. And for those who are budget-conscious, winter is when you’ll find great deals. Crowds also tend to be
smaller, so you’ll have the run of the city.
Travellers wish for a dry and clear day on their Grand Canyon tour, but sometimes Mother Nature has a different plan. The weather at the Grand Canyon can change quickly, and for those going during the summer months of July and August, which are commonly called “Monsoon Season,” be warned-you may get a bit wet.
Although you may encounter some rain as you explore this wonder, some incredible photos of the Grand Canyon happen after a refreshing shower.
